Kobe Bryant’s w*dow Vanessa Bryant is calling out Meek Mill for his “extremely insensitive and disrespectful” verse in his new song. Earlier this week, a snippet leak*d from a tra-ck entitled, “Don’t W*rry (R** Kobe),” which features Meek and Lil Baby. The song reportedly features the lyrics, “If I ever lack I’m goin’ out with my choppa, it be another Kobe.”
After the sn!ppet leak-ed, Meek immediately started feeling the h**t with fans ups-et with his lyrics. A ton of people felt they were disp-ectful to Kobe and his family.
Vanessa posted a screenshot of the lyrics from Meek’s tra-ck. She wrote, “Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disresp-ectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admirat!on for my husband.
This lacks respect and tact.” Fans have been showing Vanessa support amid the Meek c*ntr*versy. Her followers wrote words of encouragement to Kobe’s widow on social media. One person asked, “Why did it take Kobe’s widow to speak up aga!nst tacky ass Meek? NBA players swear they’re engulf-ed in music culture, they should have been check-ed that shit*”
